Rana River of Odisha

River Rana originates in the Khurda sub-division of Khurda District, Orissa. After sloping its way through the Banki taluk in Cuttack District, it finally merges with the River Mahanadi.

When Mahanadi is flooded, about 27 km around the Rana river is submerged by the backwaters of this river.
